StaffWood & Wood Garage Doors has been family owned and operated for over 55 years.  The company was started in 1955 in the basement of Robert Wood’s home as the R.F.Wood Door Co.  It is now run by Bob’s daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Hank Hopkins.  They are the beneficiary of a company that, over the years, has developed a well know reputation for taking care of their customers.  We pride ourselves on treating our customers the way we would like to be treated.  “Once our customer, always our customer.”  All of our installers are trained professionals, often complemented on their courteous and professional manner.  We provide sales, service, and installation on both commercial and residential doors and openers.  Wood & Wood Garage Doors is a member of the local Chamber of Commerce and Better Business Bureau.  We are a licensed contractor with the State of Connecticut and insured accordingly.  Whether you are looking for a basic garage door for a residential home or custom made doors from the finest lumber, Wood & Wood Garage Doors can service all your needs.
